Stan Megdall is a nationally recognized glass artist who works with private collectors,hospitals,restaurants museums, art consultants, and corporations to bring glass sculpture and glass art to you including his glass flowers. Stan's contemporary blown
glass art sculptural forms and glass flowers explore color, line and assemblage and are distinguished by his
unique style of layering color and abstract form. He combines bold brilliant colors
in a clean modern style. His work ranges from contemporary single vessels to multipart
blown compositions of stainless and glass. The smaller glass wall art sculptures are designed for table tops
and the large glass flower wall art forms are usually displayed in groupings. Stan's work includes glass art and glass sculpture in every form, abstract glass art , glass wall art and metal art glass sculpture. He is a leader in the glass field for design and color techniques. His shapes and forms are unique to the blown glass arts. Stan earned his degree from "The Center for Creative Studies " in Detroit. He taught glassblowing for several years at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Association. His studio is located in Ypsilanti, MI. Over the years he has won several awards and has received national recognition for his glass art. He primarily work alone however he has trained his father to assist him with some of his work. His fascination is now with abstract flower forms and contemporary art glass flower wall sculptures.
